What is Elite Challenge?
Elite Challenge is a five-day mental, physical, and psyichological endurance test specifically designed to select the best and most capable individuals from the participants to be part of a special elite community. Members of the community will be privilidged to take part in common training events and adventures which is exclusively designed and conducted for them in the future. Elite Challenge is led by Ret. Lieutenant Colonel Arnold Koltai, a former Special Forces officer and other Ranger qualified instructors with years of experience in training special operations individuals. During the 5 days of Elite Challenge, you can experience what it takes to make the cut of the first week of the brutal Green Beret selection process. As a candidate, you can see if you would be able to advance to later phases of the selection process of the famous three-week US Special Forces Assessment and Selection (SFAS) or if you could stand the harsh first week of Ranger School, called the Ranger Assessment Phase (RAP) week.
How does it starts?
The program starts with an in-processing and an entry physical test, where the medical team and cadre determines the medical and physical condition of the participants, followed by land navigation classes and practical exercises and various physical and mental challenges. The course is designed to push candidates to their mental and physical limits in circumstances way out of their comfort zones. Elite Challenge runs with a limited number of applicants. Only the first 40 candidates will be accepted to enter EC International. All others will be redirected to the next program. The program start and end date: 29.04.2014- 04.05.2014.The deadline for application for the Elite Challenge V. International is 31.03.2014.
What are the minimum entry physical requirements?
In general, the same as in the Ranger school and Rohamlövész course:
3200m run in 15:42
Minimum 54 push ups in 2 minutes (only the properly conducted repetitions count)
Minimum 68 sit ups in 2 minutes (only the properly conducted repetitions count)
200 meter swim in 5 minutes (wearing BDUs)
Minimum 6 pull ups
5 km formation run wearing BDUs, boots and an AK-47 completed within 32 minutes at the cadres’ pace
These exercises are conducted with minimum time in between them. Candidates will have a second try should they fail the test on the same day.
Failure to meet the standards for the second time is resulted in an automatic drop from the course.

What is the application process?
Fill out the on-line Personal Application Form (PAF) (JOIN NOW)All applicants must fill out the on-line application which includes personal information necessary for the admission into the program.
Make a 50 Euro deposit to the bank account given on the website to reserve your place in the program within a week after your deposit is placed.
You will receive an email acknowledging your deposit and the approval of your application.
Make a payment of the rest of the entrance fee of 250 Euros by the end of the application deadline (31.03.2014)
After your total payment has arrived, you will receive your information package including your Elite Challenge entry E-ticket, packing list, reporting information, a five-week physical training preparation plan exclusively put together for Elite Challenge, and all necessary information you need to know to start the program.
Report to the Elite Challenge location with your full gear by no later than 2100 hrs. on the start date.
What are the ways of dismissal from the program?
Voluntary Withdrawal (VW)
Medical Drop (MD)
Failure to meet standards (FMS)
Dishonorary discharge (DD) – in case of lack of discipline shown by candidate
Who are the trainers?
Former professional officers and NCOs all with Special Forces, Ranger and/or Storm troops qualifications. The Head of the course id Lieutenant Colonel (ret) Arnold KOLTAI, a former Special Forces officer, the founder of the Hungarian Defense Forces Scorpio and Sortm Troop Combatt Leader Course called “Rohamlövész”.
Your entrance fee will not be returned if you fail to meet the standards of the program and drop out!
On the first morning of the program you will be required to conduct an entry physical fitness test. You will have two attempts in all events to meet the minimum requirements. If you fail to meet the minimum requirements, you will be removed from the program for which NO monetary refunds will be available.
In case you need to withdraw from the program after the deadline of the application and prior to the start date, your deposit and entrance fee will not be refunded. Only if you have notified the organizers about your withdrawal before the deadline of application can we refund you your entrance fee but not the deposit. The deposit is a non-refundable payment that secures your place in the program reserved only for you.
